Instant Results? Not With Washers and Dryers – Here’s Why.

Oct 28, 2024 | Common Sense, General

Everyone is busy and has better things to do than laundry. In a world where we’re used to instant gratification, it’s hard to wait for things that just can’t be rushed. Doing laundry are one of those things that can’t be rushed.

Many times, customers press the start button on a washer or dryer and instantly expect the washer to be full of water or the dryer to be hot, leading to confusion when these appliances don’t respond immediately.

Think back to when you’ve ever drawn a bath for either yourself or your child? Do you turn the faucet on, plug the tub, then immediately turn the faucet off, and see a tub full of water? Absolutely not.

The same goes for washers and dryers—you can’t expect instant results. Washers need time to fill to full capacity, and dryers require a few moments to reach the peak temperature needed to effectively dry your load.

The next time you do laundry, just remember to give the machines time to do their thing.
